Personal Care Home Benefit
The Personal Care Home (PCH) Benefit is a financial assistance program provided by the Government of Saskatchewan to help eligible residents cover the cost of living in a personal care home. As of April 2025, the monthly benefit has increased from $2,500 to $3,500, making personal care homes more accessible for many individuals and families.
If a resident is already receiving the benefit, the increase is automatic—no action is required. For those who are not yet receiving the benefit but may now qualify, it is important to apply as soon as possible. The benefit starts from the date the application is submitted (if the applicant is already living in a PCH), even if the application is incomplete at that time.
Below, you’ll find the key documents required to apply, including the application form and the Responsible Person application. For assistance, contact the PCH Benefit office at 1-855-544-7242 or pchbinquiry@gov.sk.ca.
