TARGET Study

FeasibiliTy of virtuAl exeRcise proGram for mEn with prosTate cancer: The TARGET study

Our aim is to explore perceptions of older men with prostate cancer regarding participation in an online, virtually delivered exercise program as well as their preferences and anticipated barriers. We also aim to engage these important stakeholders as participants in the research process.

This study is approved by the University of Saskatchewan Behavioural Research Ethics Board, Beh ID 4050.

The Process:

  • The TARGET study has two parts:

    • A survey.

    • A  focus group.

  • The survey may take 8-10 minutes to complete.

  • The focus group can take place on ZOOM online, which you can join by video conference or with a phone. The focus group will be one time, and last 60 to 90 minutes.

  • Both the survey and the focus group will focus on participants providing their perception and opinions with regard to undertaking exercise programs remotely with the help of technologies. The survey will collect additional data relevant to the topic.

  • Participants will receive a $50 gift card for their time.
